Sometimes the encounter between man and bear is fatal to the latter: it is tamed for the circus or hunted for his head, proudly brought as a trophy. During the hunt, forest owners receive an amount of money for each bear head killed. Orphaned cubs have almost no chance of being saved and return to their natural environment.
